Spiritual Exploration Group

The spirituality exploration group continues to meet. As a small yet growing community we have discussed our personal spiritual journeys, our past religious upbringings in other denominations, and learning more about the Gospels and hidden gospels, too. For more information please contact Linda Coty at
(410) 535-3509 or on e-mail at lhcoty@comcast.net

Project Echo

Needs everything for their new building!  We have posted a list of what is needed on the bulletin board in the lower level of the parish hall. There is a box in the back of the church, should you wish to donate some much-needed items. Project Echo is Calvert County’s homeless shelter, and it supports many families and individuals with housing needs. You may also donate cash, which will be used to provide these items. Make checks payable to All Saints Parish, with Project Echo in the memo line. ( The shelter can accept only NEW linens. No used sheets or towels, please.)

New facility, Greater needs. In years past, there are usually 15-22 residents that are housed at Project Echo, but when the new facility opens this month that number can (and probably will) go up. Members of All Saints prepare dinner for P.E. residents the 1st, 2nd, and 5th Mondays of each month. Currently, some members work in teams of two and others go it alone. It would be WONDERFUL to have more volunteers so everyone could have a partner – cooking for +/- 40 people and then transporting the food to Prince Frederick is a lot for just one person. If you are interested and able to help in this worthy and necessary Outreach Project, please let either Patti At Lee 410-414-5858 or Evelyn Chaney 301-855-4116.

Chesapeake LIFE Homeschool Co-op

The families who are members of the Chesapeake Homeschool Co-op are excited and very appreciative to be using the Parish Hall as their new meeting location. Beginning in September they will gather here on Tuesdays for classes, exploring such topics as MathCounts, Creative Writing, Drama, French and Art. The group welcomes perspective members who can benefit from what their co-op has to offer. If you know a homeschooling family who would like to learn more about the co-op, please have them contact our own Faye Kepner at mochabean12@comcast.net or 410.257.6125.

Acolytes Needed

An 8:00 Acolyte is really needed! Katie Blake is going this alone, and would really appreciate someone, anyone stepping up and volunteering. Training is easy and the rewards are GREAT! Any age can serve.

11:00 Acolytes are also needed. This family-oriented service desperately needs more acolytes. Consider having your kids trained! There is no age requirement, as long as they can hold a glass water cruet and silver offering plate.
